Quinta dos Castelares Manuel Caldeira is an extraordinary white wine that pays tribute to the founder of Quinta dos Castelares. It is a rich and intensely aromatic white wine, with a predominance of tropical notes and ripe citrus. Aromas of caramelized orange peel, smooth barrel and stunning acidity.
Winemaking:
Quinta dos Castelares Manuel Caldeirais a white wine produced with white grape varieties from Quinta dos Castelares such as Códega do Larinho, Rabigato and Gouveio, planted in the Douro wine region. It is fermented only with natural yeasts in oak barrels. The wine aged for 18 months in oak barrels, in contact with fine lees, and was subjected to regular shaking, prior to being bottled.

Tasting Notes:
Quinta dos Castelares Manuel Caldeira is complex and rich white wine. With dominant aromas of tropical fruit, showing notes of passion fruit, banana and pineapple, delicate aromas of pear and golden apple also stand out. It displays refined balsamic notes, freshness at its core and very elegant acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18°C. Serve at a temperature of 8°C to 10°C.
